Jill M. Vales, President and Client Part-time CFO, has more than 30 years of senior management experience in finance, accounting, auditing, human resources, operations and corporate administration. She is a licensed Florida CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Vales has earned the national SPHR certification; she also owns HR Experts On Demand, Inc. which provides part-time HR Director and HR consulting services to small business and nonprofit organizations.

Vales has been a senior finance, accounting and human resources and operations executive with several national travel distribution companies.   She was Chief Financial Officer of a start-up company that completed an IPO and acquired 20 entrepreneurial companies in less than two years; her team led the due diligence efforts for the acquisitions.  She also led the company in completing a secondary stock offering and negotiating and complying with a $50 million bank line of credit. 

Vales began her CPA career as an auditor with a “Big-Four” accounting firm where she advanced to senior management during her 11 years with the firm. She served clients in services, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, auto-rental and government industries.

Vales was a finalist for the 2009 Suzanne Thaler Rising Star Award sponsored by GSA Business Journal.  Active in the community, Vales currently serves as Chair of New Beginnings Job Transition Support and has been re-elected to serve on the Board of Directors of The Rotary Club of Greenville.  She has previously served the community in the following roles:

Beth Love, Financial Analyst, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in South Carolina with almost 15 years of accounting and taxation experience. She worked for over seven years in public accounting with two “Big-Four” accounting firms in Greenville.  Love holds a Masters of Accounting degree, with a focus on taxation, from the University of Georgia and earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Presbyterian College.  Love has served as Treasurer for Pendleton Place Children’s Shelter and The Alliance for Quality Education.  In her role as Financial Analyst, Love applies her analytical and spreadsheet skills to prepare monthly journal entries to accurately close out clients’ books on an accrual basis, reconcile bank accounts, analyze clients’ preliminary monthly financial results, develop financial packages for owners and boards of directors and prepare budgets and projections.  Love has been with the firm since January 2008.

Debie Gaudreau, Paraprofessional and Firm Administrator, has more than 30 years of administrative and sales experience.  In her career she has worked with small businesses, professional services and sales businesses (domestic and international) and nonprofit organizations.  She possesses the ability to work across cultures, understands the needs of nonprofits, and is experienced in managing small businesses.  Gaudreau manages a portfolio of rental property she owns.  In her role as Paraprofessional, she assists clients with processing cash disbursements, posting cash deposits and invoicing using QuickBooks.   In her role as Firm Administrator, Gaudreau applies her experience in organization, management, bookkeeping and communication.  Gaudreau has been with the firm since April 2009.
