JMV Management Services Celebrates Third Anniversary
by Supporting Nonprofit Organizations
JMV Management Services, an Upstate-based firm that delivers senior-level, on-demand HR and finance expertise to small business and nonprofit organizations, is celebrating its third anniversary in March by volunteering support to several nonprofit organizations.
HR Experts On Demand, a division of JMV Management, is developing a comprehensive Time-Off Benefits and Policies for Nonprofits Survey in cooperation with the United Way of Greenville County and the Greenville Chamber’s Nonprofit Alliance. All participants will receive a detailed Survey Findings Report. In addition, HR Experts On Demand is co-sponsoring the Nonprofit Alliance’s March meeting and will lead a discussion on “Managing People in Critical Times” at the group’s April meeting. Jill M. Vales, SPHR, Founder and President of JMV Management Services, will co-lead a workshop with Jo Nelson of the United Way on Developing an Outcomes-Driven Performance Management Culture and Process at the upcoming 12th Annual South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO) conference. Vales also has joined the planning committee for “Love from Paris” to benefit Centre Stage Theatre.
“Employers of all sizes and industries are experiencing unprecedented times with respect to managing employees and human resources activities,” Vales says. “New challenges have arisen not only from the economic downturn, but as a result of significant newly enacted and proposed federal legislation. So we felt it was appropriate to celebrate the firm’s anniversary by focusing on several activities and programs that demonstrate our continuing focus on and support for nonprofit organizations.”
